RM: You have three books. Could you mention the titles and say a little bit about each one?
DR: Well, Whales is my first book, written in 1988. It is an educational book about whales that is around 6 pages long. Mainly, because I was 6 or 7 years old when I wrote it. The second, is called On Halloween, it’s a psychological thriller, about all the crazy antics that occur "On Halloween." Written around the time of the 1988 election, it was influenced by important social issues at the time…like goblins. The third, is a collection of cartoons, entitled The Book of Stupid Crap, it was written from 2003-2005 and was given the rating of 5 wooden shoes, by amateur critic Donny Taft.
I know you are also working on video projects called "Dudes in the City." What is this about?
Dudes in the city is a fantastic show a few friends and I are working on, its about a couple out of work dudes trying to scrape by in this wild wild ride we call life…the pilot episode is about cockfighting.
Would you rather be a robot that is also a talented wide receiver for the San Diego Chargers or John Stockton?
I choose John Stockton because he has the ability to love.
Have you considered making a book about the different type of bears in the world?
I have actually, bears are one of the greatest mammals known to man, and the world is one of the greatest planets known to man. I think I need to do a bit of research before this happens, but I would like to sink my teeth into this kind of project.
How many five year olds do you think you could beat in a fight and under what circumstances?
I think I could take on at least 25 in perhaps a high school gymnasium; however, I think that number would triple if I were riding on a domesticated tiger.
